1.The Jolly Grant airport in Uttarakhand will be renamed after Atal Bihari Vajpayee. 

2.ISRO is all set to launch its workhorse rocket PSLV-C43 carrying India's earth observation satellite Hyper Spectral Imaging Satellite (HysIS) and 30 co-passenger satellites, including 23 from the US, from Sriharikota on November 29. HysIS is an earth observation satellite developed by ISRO.

3..The Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju has inaugurated the 14th Formation Day of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on 27th November 2018 in New Delhi. The theme of this year's Formation Day is 'Early Warning for Disasters'. 

4.The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women (IDEVAW) is observed every year on 25th of November to raise public awareness on issues of violence against women and girls,2018 theme is 'Orange the World: #HearMeToo'.

5.Tamil Nadu bagged the Best State Award in cadaveric organ donation from the National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (NOTTO), Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

6.The Croatia Davis Cup team has won the 107th edition of the Davis Cup tennis tournament 2018.

7.The United Nations has officially selected Uttar Pradesh's Noida and Greater Noida to participate in its Global Sustainable Cities 2025 initiative. The twin-cities in Gautam Buddh Nagar district have been selected in the "University City" category.

8.Arvind Saxena has been appointed as the new Chairman of Union Public Service Commission. Saxena will be serving in the office till August 7, 2020, when he attains the age of 65 years.

14.The 2018 G20 Summit began on November 28, 2018 in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is the 13th meeting of Group of Twenty (G20) and the first G20 summit to be hosted in South America.

15.Ukrainian film 'Donbass', directed by Sergei Loznitsa, has won the coveted Golden Peacock Award at the 49th International Film Festival of India (IFFI-2018) in Goa on November 28.

16.Defence Minister Smt Nirmala Sitharaman launched Mission Raksha. The main aim is to provide a boost to the Intellectual Property Right (IPR) culture in indigenous defence industry.
