The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved an agreement between India and Denmark on Cooperation in the field of Science, Technology and Innovation- The objective of the Agreement is to encourage, develop and facilitate co-operation between India and Denmark in fields of common interest within Science, Technology and Innovation. 2.The 2018 ICC Women's World T20 championship will be held in the West Indies from November 9 to 24. 1. Women in Saudi Arabia have been legally allowed to drive for the first time in the history of one of the most conservative countries. The Union ministry of health and family welfare launched the 'National Health Resource Repository (NHRR)' , the first ever registry in the country registry of authentic, standardised and updated geo-spatial data of all public and private healthcare. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is the project technology partner for providing data security. It was launched by Union Health Minister J P Nadda. 2.Under "Adopt a Heritage Scheme" , three MoUs have already been signed and six are at an advanced stage and 31 more Adarsh Monuments are enlisted for coverage under the scheme. 1. The 7th edition of I ndia Minerals and Metals forum was inaugurated in New Delhi on June 21, 2018. The forum seeks to come up with solutions to leverage in the sector with the changing global scenario. The deliberations took cognizance on the need to consolidate small players for strengthening of overall health of the industry.  2.The Kerala Governement launhed an ambitious micro-finance programme in the co-operative sector to help ordinary people who are being exploited by private financiers charging exorbitant interest rates for loans. It is a joint initiative of cooperative banks and Kudumbashree.They have launched the proposed scheme, titled 'Muttathe Mulla'. Under the initiative, Cooperative banks would give away micro-finance loans to 'Kudumbashree' at an interest rate of 7 per cent, which members of the neighbourhood network can avail at an interest rate of 12 per cent instead of 37-72% interest for mico loans that the private lenders are giving. 3

1. Shillong has been selected as the 100th city to receive funding under the Centre's flagship "Smart Cities Mission" . In January 2016, 20 cities were announced under the Smart Cities Mission, followed by 13 cities in May 2016, 27 cities in September 2016, 30 cities in June 2017, and 9 cities in January this year.Under the scheme, each city will get Rs 500 crore from the Centre for implementing various projects. 2. Meghalaya government will implement the Centre's Ayushman Bharat - National Health Protection Mission (AB-NHPM), the state would merge its own Meghalaya Health Insurance Scheme (MHIS) with the AB-NHPM. 2.India has agreed to open 4 new air gateways to Nepal in the eastern and western part of the country, aimed to facilitate international traffic. The Reserve Bank of India ( RBI ) released the draft guidelines to modify the loan system for delivery of bank credit, making the rules stricter to regulate larger borrowers enjoying working capital facility from the banking system.
