1.The Union ministry of health and family welfare launched the 'National Health Resource Repository (NHRR)', the first ever registry in the country registry of authentic, standardised and updated geo-spatial data of all public and private healthcare. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is the project technology partner for providing data security. It was launched by Union Health Minister J P Nadda.

2.Under "Adopt a Heritage Scheme", three MoUs have already been signed and six are at an advanced stage and 31 more Adarsh Monuments are enlisted for coverage under the scheme. The scheme is being implemented by the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Culture and Archaeological Survey of India. The four MoUs include: 1. Mount Stok Kangri Trek Route, Ladakh 2. Gangotri Temple Area & Trail to Gaumukh, Uttarakhand 3. Red Fort, Delhi 4. Gandikota Fort, Andhra Pradesh

3.The central government's ambitious public health insurance scheme 'Ayushman Bharat' would create more than 1 lakh jobs. The programme's CEO Indu Bhushan said that jobs would be created in health sector, insurance and in construction industries. The Ayushman Bharat-National Health Protection Mission (ABNHPM), aims to provide Rs 5 lakh health cover to 100 million of India's poorest families.

4.India is trying to make Chabahar Port in Iran operational by 2019 despite a threat of renewed US sanctions against Tehran.Iran’s Chabahar port is located on the Gulf of Oman and is the only oceanic port of the country. The port gives access to the energy-rich Persian Gulf nations’ southern coast and India can bypass Pakistan with the Chabahar port becoming functional.

5.UNISPACE+50 was held recently to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first United Nations Conference on the Exploration and Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, and highlight past and future Agency activities in support of the UN’s space-related actions.The event aimed at shaping the UN’s comprehensive ‘Space2030’ agenda. The Space2030 agenda will map out how spaceflight and space-related activities can help achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), addressing overarching, long-term development concerns, through the peaceful exploration and uses of outer space.

6.The government appointed Arjit Basu as Managing Director of the country's largest lender State Bank of India (SBI).

7.Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Mohanpura irrigation project in Rajgarhdistrict of Madhya Pradesh on June 23 during his day long visit to the state.

8.The state government of Gujarat has launched a solar power scheme for farmers named Suryashakti Kisan Yojana (SKY) to enable them generate electricity for their captive consumption as well as sell the surplus power to the grid and earn an extra income.

9.Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has been conferred the ‘Chief Minister of the Year’ award at the 52nd Skoch Summit held in New Delhi for her remarkable work in e-governance.

10.India and Cuba have signed two MoUs – one on Traditional Medicine and Homeopathy, and the other on Biotechnology.The agreements were reached after talks between President Ram Nath Kovind and his Cuban counterpart Miguel Mario Díaz-Canel in Havana. At the meeting, Cuba reiterated its support to India’s candidature for a permanent seat in UN Security Council.
