1.The active volcano of Indonesia Mount Agung has erupted again. Two other volcanoes Mount Bromo in East Java and Mount Merapi in Yogyakarta also continues to erupt.

2.The Indian Navy has launched guided missile destroyer ‘Imphal’ at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders in Mumbai.

17.RBI is to issue ₹20 denomination banknotes in the Mahatma Gandhi (New) Series. The new banknote bears the signature of Shri Shaktikanta Das, Governor, Reserve Bank of India. The new banknote has a motif of Ellora Caves on the reverse

 1.The Hampi chariot is one among the three famous stone chariots in India, the other two being in Konark, Odisha, and Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu.
