1.'G20' (Group of 20) Ministerial Meeting on Energy Transitions and Global Environment for Sustainable Growth for the year 2019 was held at Karuizawa Town, Nagano,Japan.Indian delegation was led by Shri RK Singh, Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship. 

2.'Tripura' will be benefitted by the India-Bangladesh Friendship Bridge 1 ('Feni Bridge/ Maitree Setu') constructed over Feni River. It will connect Tripura with Chittagong port of Bangladesh.

3.Punjab State Government is set to launch its flagship universal health insurance scheme named "Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana (SSBY)" with effect from July 1, 2019. This Health scheme will be the first of its kind in the state.14.86 lakh families of Punjab will be covered under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM JAY) in the state .

4.NASA's robot named 'Bumble' became the first Astrobee robot to fly under its own power in space.

5.'France' is hosting the FIFA 2019 women's world cup.

6.'Folksam Grand Prix 2019' held in Sollentuna, Sweden. India's 'PU Chitra' has won gold in women's 1500m. Besides her, Asian Games gold medallist Jinson Johnson won the silver in the men's 1500m.

7.'Mohammed Shami' created history as he became the second India bowler to take a hat-trick in a World Cup match against Afhganistan. He also became the fastest Indian to claim 100 wickets in One-day Internationals.

8.India's ace cueist 'Pankaj Advani' has clinched the 35th men's Asian Snooker Championship held in Doha.He has became the first player to win the Asian Snooker and World Snooker championships in all formats.

9.Indian Navy launched 'Operation Sankalp' in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman to reassure Indian flagged vessels safe transit through the area. INS Chennai and INS Sunayna have been deployed in the region.

10.According to the the annual 'Asian Development Outlook report 2019 of ADB', 'Bangladesh' has emerged as the fastest growing economies in the Asia-Pacific region comprised of 45 countries.

11.'Saudi Arabia' became the first Arab country to get full membership of the 'Financial Action Task Force (FATF)'.The membership was admitted into the global money laundering watchdog after the group's Annual General Meeting in Orlando, Florida.

12.Japan gifted Manipur, one of India's north eastern state a 'Museum of Peace' built on the memories of Battle of Imphal, one of the fiercest battles of 2nd World War (WWII).It is marked 75th anniversary of 'Battle of Imphal'.

13.Lewis Hamilton won the 'French Grand Prix'.

14.'Rajnish Kumar' is the 25th chairman of the country's largest lender SBI, who succeeded Arundhati Bhattacharya, as the chairman.

15.US President Donald Trump awarded golfer Tiger Woods the US's Presidential Medal of Freedom, the country's highest civilian honour. 

16.'Veyil Marangal '(Trees Under the Sun) have become the first Indian film to won 'Outstanding Artistic Achievement' award at the Shanghai International Film Festival. The film is directed by Bijukumar Damodaran.

17.The book titled "My Life, My Mission" is the autobiography of Yoga guru 'Baba Ramdev' .

18.Veteran Actor 'Anupam Kher' has penned an Auto-Biography titled "Lessons Life Taught Me, Unknowingly".

19.Tech-Mahindra introduced 'K2', the first Human Resource (HR) Humanoid in UP.

20.Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the 14th G20 Summit in Osaka, Japan,The theme of the summit is "Human-centred future society". India has participated in all the G20 Summits held so far. It will host the G20 summit in 2022 for the first time.

21.'Kerala' has topped ranking state in terms of overall health performance as per the report submitted by 'NITI Aayog on health index'. Next to Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra have emerged as the second and third best performers. 

22.In Nepal, thousands of people came onto roads in capital Kathmandu against controversial “Guthi Bill”. They are protesting against the controversial bill, claiming that the bill had provisions in favour of land mafias and could be a threat to the centuries old culture and traditions of Nepal.

23.India has opened its first specialised hydrotherapy treatment center (water clinic) for elephants at 'Mathura',U.P.

24.Union Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (I&B) has signed agreements with 'Bangladesh and South Korea' to make DD India available to viewers in the two countries respectively.

29. 7.23 Crore Connections released under 'Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana' aims to provide LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) connections to poor households.
