1.The government of India has decided to celebrate 29 June as National Statistical Day. The Prof. C.R. Rao Award 2019 was conferred to Dr. Subhra Sankar Dhar.  The theme for Statistics Day 2019 is "Sustainable Development Goals".

2.'Amitabh Kant' was given a two-year extension as the Chief Executive Officer of NITI Aayog on June 26, 2019. 

3.The government has appointed senior IPS officer 'Arvind Kumar' as the director of the Intelligence Bureau.

4.India proposed to host the 2023 International Olympic Committee session in Mumbai. It is expected to choose the host city for the 2030 Winter Olympics.

5.Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomar made central Government to decide to use digital technology across rural India to double farmers income by the year 2022. The Government set up 713 'Krishi Vigyan Kendras' (KVK) for the purpose.

6.'Sarathi' is the driving license app, that is introduced by the government recently. It is to modify the current format of driving licenses to laminated card without chip or smart card type driving licences. 

7.'World Hydrography Day' observed on June 21,The theme for WHD 2019 is "Hydrographic information driving marine knowledge". 

8.'Italy' choose to host the 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics during the 134th session of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in Lausanne, Switzerland. 

9.'Mysuru Railway Station' has become the first railway station in South Western Railway to receive the Integrated 'ISO certificate'.

10.Mette Frederiksen is the new Prime Minister of Denmark. She is the leader of the Social Democratic party leader.

11.Indian batsman' Virat Kohli' in this ICC worldcup 2019 became the fastest batsman to reach 20,000 international runs eclipsing batting greats Sacin Tendulkar and Brian Lara.

12.Under the flagship 'Sagarmala Programme', the Union Ministry of Shipping has recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with IIT Kharagpur for setting up the 'Centre for Inland and Coastal Maritime Technology (CICMT)' at IIT Kharagpur. The first-of-its-kind Centre will focus on ship design for coastal/inland waterways.

13.'One Nation One Ration Card' scheme, which will allow portability of food security benefits, will be available across the country from July 1, 2020. This means poor migrant workers will be able to buy subsidised rice and wheat from any ration shop in the country.

14.'Junko Tabei' was the first woman to reach the summit of Mount Everest, and the first woman to ascend all Seven Summits by climbing the highest peak on every continent.

15.'2025' has set as the target year by the government of India to end Tuberculosis (TB).

16.Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) successfully observed 'Swachhta Pakhwada' (cleanliness fortnight) from June 1-15 2019. 

17.The Union Government has constituted an 18-member working group for the revision of the current series of 'Wholesale Price Index (WPI)' under Chairmanship of Prof. Ramesh Chand, Member of NITI Aayog. The revision of the base year would help in presenting a more realistic picture of the price situation and its impact on people.The current series of WPI with 2011-12 as the base year was introduced in May 2017. 

18.India is planning to send up its own satellite 'Aditya-L1', a mission to study the Sun's corona.

19.India's chief national badminton coach 'Pullela Gopichand' has been bestowed an honorary doctorate by IIT Kanpur.

20.The Rajasthan government has decided to set up 'Vedic education board' and culture board in the state.The board will help future generations take inspiration from Vedic culture.

21.At Jammu and Kashmir, tourist's promotional festival - 'Ladakh Singhey Khababs Sindhu Festival' celebrated on the bank of Indus River at Leh.

22.Union government has launched the 'Go Tribal Campaign' in New Delhi to promote the use of tribal handicrafts and natural products. TRIFED has organized it.

23.NASA’s 'Curiosity rover' recently discovered high amounts of methane in the air on Mars, checking whether this was an indication of life on the Red Planet, or beneath its surface.

24.The Centre is set to initiate the 'Jal Shakti Abhiyan' to ramp up rainwater harvesting and conservation efforts in 255 water-stressed districts from July 1, in line with the government’s promise to focus on water.

25.In a bid to cultivate, promote and enhance opportunities on business, academic and cultural fronts between 'Kobe in Japan and Ahmedabad in Gujarat,' India, a sister-city agreement has been inked between the two cities. Ahmedabad is India’s first World Heritage City.

28.The Government of India is implementing 'One Stop Centre (OSC)' scheme for setting up One Stop Centre since 1st April 2015 to support women affected by violence. It is popularly known as SakhiMinistry of Women and Child Development (MWCD) has formulated this Centrally Sponsored Scheme.
