5.Indian Wrestler 'Bajrang Punia' won gold in 65kg men's freestyle competition at Tbilisi Grand Prix 2019 against Iran's Peiman Bibyani by 2-0.

6.'Rajasthan' has become the first state in India to implement the National Policy on 'Biofuels'.

7.Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Indian Railways launched Operation "Number Plate", a Special Drive to curb unidentified vehicles.

8.In J&K Indian flag will be hoisted on 73rd Independence Day of India for the first time. Centre has announced this event as "Jashn-e-Azad".

9.Tamil Nadu government has awarded 'K. Sivan' with its 'Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Award'. K. Sivan is currently serving as the chairman of Indian Space Research Organisation.

10.'Deepak Punia' is the first Indian in 18 years to win a Junior World Championship title. He defeated Russia's Alik Shebzukov to win the 86 kg junior freestyle title.

11.'Bajrang Punia' awarded 'Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award 2019'. It is the highest award in India on sports area. she is in the field of wrestling.

12.India's first private Space Science Museum has opened in 'Hyderabad' to mark the Golden Jubilee of the Birla Archaeological and Cultural Research Institute (BACRI).

13.In Badminton,'Sourabh Verma' from Madhya Pradesh clinched the Men's Singles title in the 2019 Hyderabad Open championship at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium.

14.The International Youth Day (IYD) is observed every year on 12th of August, The 2019 theme “Transforming education”.

15.The famous 'Panchamritham', an offering of the Palani Dandayuthaswamy temple, has been granted the Geographical Identity (GI) tag.

21.Newly discovered 'Kajin Sara lake' in 'Nepal' is likely to set a new record of being the world’s highest lake. It is located in Nepal.

22.World Wide Fund for Nature ('WWF') has released the first-ever global assessment of forest biodiversity.  It's developed following the 'Living Planet Index 'methodology — an index that tracks wildlife that lives only in forests.

23.'CORAS' (Commando for Railway Security) of Indian Railways has been launched to meet the challenges to Railway security. They shall be deployed in Left Wing Extremism (LWE)/Insurgency/Terrorism affected Railway areas.

 1.The Hampi chariot is one among the three famous stone chariots in India, the other two being in Konark, Odisha, and Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu. It was the last capital of the last great Hindu Kingdom of Vijayanagar.It was a part of the Mauryan Empire back in the third century BC. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site. 2.
