1.The United States and South Korea decided to call off their joint exercise "Foal Eagle" and "Key Resolve" and instead bifurcate them into smaller exercises. 

2.Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Mandhan (PM-SYM) Yojana at Vastral in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.It will provide monthly pension of Rs. 3000 to the employees of unorganised sector after 60 years of age.

3.The General Assembly of Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has decided to include cricket in the sports programme in the 2022 edition of the Asian Games, which is scheduled to be held in Hangzhou, China.

4.The World Wildlife Day (WWD) is observed every year on 3rd of March,The 2019 theme “Life Below Water: For people and planet”.

5.The Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has inaugurated the project BOLD-QIT (Border Electronically Dominated QRT Interception Technique) on India-Bangladesh border in Dhubri District of Assam. The project is a part of the Comprehensive Integrated Border Management System (CIBMS), 

6.The Israeli spacecraft “Beresheet” on it’s first-ever moon mission has recently sent its first selfie back to Earth.

7.International Women's Day is being observed on 08th March. The theme for this year's women's day is 'Think Equal, Build Smart, Innovate for Change'.President Ram Nath Kovind will present the highest civilian honor for women in India, Nari Shakti Puraskar 2018 in New Delhi. 44 awardees this year.

8.Indore has been adjudged India's cleanest city for the 3rd straight year on Central government's cleanliness survey 'Swachh Survekshan 2019'. Best state was jharkhand. Bhopal is country’s Swachh capital.

9.The Rice Knowledge Bank – Assam (RKB-Assam) is an agriculture web portal i.e. dedicated to enhancing knowledge on rice production techniques, agricultural technologies, best production practices and state agriculture facts.

10.The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has recently approved the investment sanction for construction of 624 MW 'Kiru' Hydro Electric Project on River Chenab in J & K.

11.The 3rd edition of the bilateral joint exercise "Al Nagah 2019" is scheduled to be held between India and Oman from 12th to 25th March at Jabel Al Akhdar Mountains in Oman.

12.Red Flag is US Air Force's premier air-to-air combat training exercise. India has participated in it for two times in 2008 and 2016.

13. India has signed a $250 million loan agreement with the World Bank for the National Rural Economic Transformation Project (NRETP) that aims to help women in rural households shift to a new generation of economic initiatives by developing viable enterprise for farm and non-farm products.

14.India Cooling Action Plan Launched.India is the first country in world to develop such a document (ICAP), It is to provide sustainable cooling and thermal comfort for all while securing environmental and socio-economic benefits for the society.
15.The Reserve Bank Of India (RBI) has come up with a review of operations of White Label ATMs (WLAs) in the country. WLA is Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) set up, owned and operated by non-bank entities are called “White Label ATMs” (WLAs). They provide the banking services to the customers of banks in India, based on the cards (debit/credit/prepaid) issued by banks.
16.The Marayoor Jaggery, the traditional and handmade product from Idukki district of Kerala, has received the Geographical Indication (GI) tag from the Central Government.
17.On January 30, the Indian Sundarban was accorded the status of ‘Wetland of International Importance’ under the Ramsar Convention. It is also a UNESCO world heritage site, is home to the Royal Bengal Tiger
