1.International World Water Day is held annually on 22 March,The theme for World Water Day 2019 is 'Leaving no one behind,' which is the central promise of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The International Day of Forests is held annually on 21 March,The theme for 2019 is Forests and Education. 

World Meteorological Day is observed annually on March 23 to commemorate the establishment of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) in 1950. Theme 2019 was "The Sun, the Earth and the Weather". 

2.Hindi writer Leeladhar Jagudi honoured with Vyas Samman 2018 for his collection of poems "Jitne Log Utne Prem",  it was started by K K Birla foundation in 1991.

3. World Tuberculosis (TB) Day is commemorated on March 24,The theme of World TB Day 2019 - 'It's time'.

4.India has lifted South Asian Football Federation SAFF Women's Championship fifth time in a row. Keeping its winning streak India defeated host Nepal.

5.Kiwi captain Kane Williamson got Sir Richard Hadlee Medal for Men's Player of the Year on 21 March 2019. Williamson also got the Test Player of the Year award and the Redpath Cup for First Class batting.

6.Operation Sahayata 2019-India Navy was the first responder in the evolving humanitarian crises in the aftermath of Cyclone IDAI that hit Mozambique on 15 March 2019.

7.President Ram Nath Kovind has been awarded the Grand Order of King Tomislav with Sash and Grand Star by the President of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic for his exceptional contribution to the advancement of overall relations and development of mutual cooperation between India and Croatia.

8.The Chairman of 15th Finance Commission of India, N.K. Singh launched the book "Indian Fiscal Federalism". The book has been written by Dr. Y. V. Reddy, former Governor of RBI and Chairman of the 14th Finance Commission of India.

9. Italy set to become first G7 country to join ‘Belt and Road’ initiative, BRI consisting of the land-based belt, ‘Silk Road Economic Belt’, and ‘Maritime Silk Road’, aims to connect the East Asian economic region with the European economic circle and runs across the continents of Asia, Europe and Africa.

10.India’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV), in its 47th mission (PSLV-C45), will launch EMISAT, the primary satellite and 28 international customer satellites, This mission will be ISRO’s first attempt at placing payloads in three different orbitsEMISAT is primarily based on the famous Israeli spy satellite called SARAL or (Satellite with ARgos and ALtika), It would serve as the country’s roving device for detecting and gathering electronic intelligence.

11.World Economic Forum has released its global Energy Transition index. The annual list ranks 115 economies on their ability to balance energy security and access with environmental sustainability and affordability. india qranked 76th.

12.Every year, on March 23, the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) commemorates its founding by observing World Meteorological Day. 2019 Theme: “The Sun, the Earth and the weather”. 

13.ABHEDYA is Indian Navy’s state of the art Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Training Facility (NBCTF) which was inaugurated recently at INS Shivaji, Lonavala.

14. Global MPI(Multi dimesnsional poverty index) 2018 Report prepared by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP),  Jharkhand had the greatest improvement, followed by Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, and Nagaland.
