1.India and Malta to come together for strengthening cooperation in Tourism MoU to boost economy for both countries.The Main objectives of the MoU are to encourage the quality destination of tourism industry in both countries.

2.The government of Andhra Pradesh entered into a MOU with Mastercard and launched a mobile platform, e-Rythu (e-farmer in Telugu) enabling small-scale farmers to market their produce at reasonable prices. The government aims to integrate the e-Rythu with existing platforms such as-e-NAM (National Agricultural Market).

3.The second edition of the 10-day Nepal-China joint military exercise "Sagarmatha Friendship-2018" will be held at Chengdu, the capital of China's southwestern Sichuan Province, from September 17. 

4.The Supreme Court has appointed a 3-member committee headed by D.K. Jain, a former judge of the court, to probe the harrowing arrest and alleged torture of former space scientist Nambi Narayanan in the 'ISRO spy scandal' that turned out to be fake.

5.Maldives have lifted the 2018 South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Cup. In the final at the Bangabandhu Stadium in Dhaka, they defeated defending champions India 2-1. 

6.MC Mary Kom wins Gold at Silesian Open Boxing iIn Poland. She clinched her third gold medal of the year in 48 kg category.

7.Iraq has replaced Saudi Arabia as India's largest oil supplier in August. Iran remained the third biggest oil supplier to India in August. 

8.The tourism ministry would organise the 2nd edition of 'Paryatan Parv' from September 16 to September 27 2018. "Paryatan Parv" is a nation-wide celebration of Tourism. It was inaugurated by Shri Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister.

9.International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer was observed on 16th September throughout the world. The theme for International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer 2018 was 'Keep Cool and Carry On: The Montreal Protocol'. 

10.The National Engineer’s Day (NED) is celebrated every year on September 15 in India to appreciate the contributions of Sir M. Visvesvaraya. The 2018 theme is “Engineering Challenges for Knowledge Era”.

11.The International Day of Democracy is observed every year on September 15, this year theme is “Democracy under Strain: Solutions for a Changing World”.

12.The Rajasthan government has recently inaugurated the first lion safari of the state at Nahargarh Biological Park (NBP).

13.India’s first underwater robotic drone “EyeROV TUNA” was launched and handed over to Kochi-based DRDO lab “Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory.

14.India has been ranked 130 among 189 countries in the latest Human Development Index (HDI) report 2018 released by UNDP. Norway secured first.

15.Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY)recently marked the anniversary of the launch of scheme as Matru Vandana Saptah.The scheme is a conditional cash transfer scheme for pregnant and lactating women of 19 years of age or above for first live birth.launched in 2010.

16.To combat human trafficking, the West Bengal government has rolled out a scheme, Swayangsiddha, in its different districts.

17.Ministry of Power, Government of India launched Chiller Star Labelling Program, an ambitious program to encourage the deployment of Energy Efficient chiller systems in the country.The program envisages providing star rating in terms of its energy performance
