1.Ranchi-based software developer Ranjit Srivastava is developing the world's first Hindi-speaking humanoid robot, claimed to cost just Rs50,000 so far. Named Rashmi, the AI-powered robot can also speak Bhojpuri, Marathi, and English, 

2.The Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) has launched a dedicated portal – Forum of Cargo Owners and Logistics Operators (FOCAL) – to connect cargo owners and shippers with real time data on availability of vessels.

3.Lewis Hamilton has won the 2018 Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix tournament  at the Hungaroring circuit.

4.The Telangana government will setup a state of the art “B-Hub” for biotech and biopharma sector in Genome Valley, Hyderabad. It’s a first-of-its-kind initiative in the country, aimed at providing much-needed support to the biopharma research and development activities.

5.The President of India, Ram Nath Kovind presented the Outstanding Parliamentarian Award (OPA) for Trinamool Congress’ Dinesh Trivedi for 2016 and Bhartruhari Mahtab of the Lok Biju Janata Dal (BJD) for 2017. The OPA is an award given by the Indian Parliamentary Group (IPG) to an outstanding sitting Member of Parliament (MP) for overall contribution in the Parliament. 

6.Facebook Launches Digital Literacy Library to Help Youth Build Skills Online.The library is a collection of lessons to help young people think critically and share thoughtfully online.

7.India has been elected as the president of the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting DevelopmentThe Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) was established in 1977 under the auspices of UNESCO. India got first time  presidency of the organisation, servicing countries of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP) in the field of electronic media development.
