1.The world's first digital art museum opened its doors to the public in Tokyo, Japan  allowing patrons to step all the way into the artworks.

2.Union Minister of Coal, Railways, Finance & Corporate Affairs, Piyush Goyal launched the Coal Mine Surveillance & Management System (CMSMS) and Mobile Application 'Khan Prahari' developed by CMPDI, Ranchi in New Delhi.Khan Prahari is a tool for reporting any activity taking place related to illegal coal mining like rat-hole mining, pilferage etc.

3.Russia's state nuclear power corporation Rosatom and China's National Energy Administration signed a deal to build the two 1,200-megawatt units at the Tianwan nuclear power plant. Russia and China are also working together on One Belt, One Road initiative. 

4.Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani launched 'Poshan Abhiyan'--a statewide mission to eradicate malnutrition among children by providing them nutritious food through Anganwadi centres. The CM also launched 'Purna' project to eliminate malnutrition among girls in the age group of 14 to 18. 

5.Google's public WiFi project aims to capture 40 million new users in India by 2019.Google has currently partnered with RailTel and Indian Railways to offer public Wi-Fi in railway stations, covering 400 stations with about 7.6 million monthly active Wi-Fi users.

6.“Pandharichi Wari” is the most important pilgrimage of Maharashtra. It is more than 700 years old tradition in which devotees of Lord Vitthala called Varkari trace the route to Pandharpur. This year, in 2018, Wari will resume from July 6. 

7.India’s first ‘MOVE: Global Mobility Summit’ will be organised by NITI Aayog in New Delhi on September 7-8, 2018. This Summit will help drive Government’s goals for vehicle electrification, renewable energy integration and job growth and also speed up India’s transition to a clean energy economy. 

8.The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) has launched its in-house developed & single integrated e-marketing platform named Khadi Institution Management and Information System (KIMIS) in New Delhi.The system can be accessed from anywhere in the country for the sale and purchase of Khadi and Village Industries products. 

9.Cabinet approves DNA Technology (Use and Application) Regulation Bill, 2018.The new bill aims to expand the application of DNA-based forensic technologies to support and strengthen the justice delivery system of the country.

10.The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved the increase in the Minimum Support Prices (MSPs) for all kharif crops for 2018-19 Season. MSP is the minimum price set by the Government at which farmers can expect to sell their produce for the season. 

11.Cabinet approves renaming of Agartala Airport, Tripura as Maharaja Bir Bikram Manikya Kishore Airport, Agartala.
