1.D C Raina appointed as the advocate general of
Jammu and Kashmir, Advocate general is the highest law officer in the state.
2.A new integrated state-of-the-art integrated Indian
Visa Application Centre (IVAC) was Inaugurated in Bangladesh,Rajnath
Singh also inaugurated the Bangladesh-India Friendship building in Bangladesh
Police Academy in Sardah.
3.As per
the Census 2011 data, 24,821 people in India have registered Sanskrit as their
mother tongue.Sanskrit is one of the languages in the Eighth Schedule and is
also an official language in Uttarakhand.
4. ISRO successfully tested the high thrust version of
the Vikas Engine at its Propulsion Complex (IPRC) in Tamil Nadu’s
Mahendragiri. Vikas Engine is the workhorse liquid rocket engine
powering the second stage of India’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV),
second stage and the four strap on stages of GSLV and the twin engine
core liquid stage (L110) of GSLV Mk-III.
5.The UN members have unanimously elected Iceland to take a
seat on the 47-member Human Rights Council. They will replace USA.
6.President
Ram Nath Kovind has nominated 4 Rajya Sabha members they are Ram
Shakal,sculptor Raghunath Mohapatra, classical dancer Sonal Mansingh and
Founder of Delhi-based 'India Policy Foundation' Rakesh Sinha.
7.South
Africa has unveiled MeerKAT- a super radio telescope, It will be the world’s largest
telescope in a project to try to unravel the secrets of the universe.
8.The 354-km Purvanchal Expressway project, the
country’s longest, is on stream with the Uttar Pradesh
government.It will connect Lucknow with Ghazipur, The Project is being implemented on Engineering,
Procurement and Construction (EPC) Mode. EPC is a model of contract between the government and private sector
players for public infrastructure building. Under this system, the entire
project is funded by the government.
9.'Shwet Ashwa' is the elite
motorcycle display team of the Corps of Military Police. It has commenced
a motorcycle expedition from Bengaluru to Drass as a tribute to the soldiers
who laid down their lives during the Kargil war.

Deleteit was firstly proposed for 354 km, then changed to 340 km..
Now it runs for 340 km..
